Councillor Lyndon Davison-Williams – UPDATED

It is with sadness that the Parish Council announces that the Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Lyndon Davison-Williams, has passed away. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer last Summer. Lyndon had been heavily involved with the Council for over 20 years, giving much of his time to support and undertake many voluntary tasks around the Village and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Parish Council send their sincere condolences to his family and friends.

A Book of Condolence has been set up but due to current Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions, please email any messages to theparishclerk@bartonleclay-pc.gov.uk to be included in the book.
Charity donations in Lyndon’s memory can be made here.

Lyndon’s Funeral will be held on 15th April at the North Herts Crematorium. Given Covid-19 restrictions on numbers, only a few invited people are able to attend.

However, the hearse will be leaving from Lyndon’s house on Bedford Road at about 9.30am and we would encourage anyone wishing to show their respects to gather from 9.15am and to stand socially-distanced by the roadside between The Bull Public House and Boness Vets as the hearse passes, before it reaches the A6 roundabout and turns up Higham Gobion Road to leave the Village.
