The Parish Council owns and maintains the Burial Ground located at the end of Church Road. The Burial Ground is fortunate to be situated in the Chilterns National Landscape and within the Conservation Area.
The first recorded burial was in 1940, and the site offers traditional burial graves and an area for cremated remains interments. There is no provision for scattering of ashes anywhere on the site.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Burial Ground, and we ask that all visitors treat the Burial Ground with respect. To ensure that the Burial Ground remains a pleasant, peaceful area for all, visitors are asked to observe the rules and regulations detailed in the Burial Ground Regulations booklet attached below.
