The Neighbourhood Plan Referendum will take place on

Thursday 19th February 2026

The Referendum for the Barton-le-Clay Neighbourhood Plan is taking place on Thursday 19th February 2026, at Barton Village Hall.

This follows the 8-week submission consultation (Regulation 16) period from 9th July 2025 to 20th August 2025.

David Kaiserman at Penny O’Shea Consulting was appointed to independently examine the Neighbourhood Plan (Regulation 17). The Plan was successful at Examination, subject to a series of modifications that were proposed in order for the Plan to meet the Basic Conditions. These modifications have been implemented and the final version of the Neighbourhood Plan can be viewed here.
