As part of the planning approval for the new Taylor Wimpey housing development site on Higham Gobion Road, Artist Blacksmith, Kelly Burton, has been chosen to produce a piece of artwork for the entrance to the new estate.
Councillors Paxton and Qureshi and the Clerk attended Arnold Academy on 21st May with Kelly Burton, to engage with children representing Ramsey Manor and Arnold Academy schools, to gather ideas for the artwork. The enthusiasm and creativity of the pupils was a credit to them.
Based on this feedback, the artist will prepare the proposed designs and present them on 15th June 2026, 6.30pm at the Village Hall, Committee Room. Residents are invited to attend.
