The Parish Council have arranged with Central Beds Council for the broken speed sign on Sharpenhoe Road to be replaced. This has been funded via our Grant from the Police & Crime Commissioners Road Safety Fund and is now in situ.
However, the Parish Council is disappointed that their request for further traffic calming measures for the Village, particularly on Bedford Road and Sharpenhoe Road, were rejected by Central Beds Council due to insufficient evidence of need.
The Parish Council will continue to push for further improvements for the safety of the Village.
