The Parish Council are delighted to have completed the planting of 5 new trees in Arnold Recreation Ground as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project – 3 Field Maples and 2 Liquidambar. The trees were funded via Central Bedfordshire Council’s Tree Planting Grant and from a donation from the Barton Conservation Group. In addition, the Parish Council have installed a new bench to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee last year and to give residents the opportunity to sit and enjoy the Recreation Ground and surrounding views.
