We have been advised by Central Beds Council that Higham Gobion Road will be closed between the A6 roundabout and Westhey Manor, from 15th June to 18th September for 24hrs a day, to enable S278 Gas, Water and Electrical connection works for the new Taylor Wimpey housing development to take place in safety. Works will include construction of roundabout; laying of new services; footpath widening and resurfacing; carriageway alterations and resurfacing.
In addition, Windsor Road at the junction with Higham Road, will be closed for around 1 week within these dates. The dates will be signed on site.
Please note: Access to the school/nursery and residential houses will be maintained throughout.
