While we were planning to open our play areas and outdoor fitness equipment from 4 July, following new guidance issued by the Government on 26 June, we are now re-assessing what additional control measures may be needed before they can safely re-open to the public.
Until this is complete, all Barton-le-Clay Parish Council play areas will remain closed. While we appreciate this will be disappointing to residents, it is important that we consider all reasonable precautions before re-opening our facilities.
This is in line with advice received from Central Bedfordshire Council.
The health and safety of residents is our priority.
