Central Bedfordshire Council are consulting on an application for Outline Planning in respect of building up to 500 new homes, a lower/primary school and provision of public open space with associated infrastructure and earthworks East of Barton-le-Clay on the Higham Gobion Road. This development is included in the Central Beds Council’s Draft Local Plan (HAS05) and is situated on land currently designated in the Green Belt. You can view the full application here.
The Parish Council will discuss the application at their next meeting in July. Residents are welcome to share their comments with the Parish Council but please remember that we are only one consultee and all residents need to submit their comments/objections to Central Beds Council for their voices to be heard. The deadline for any comments or objections to be submitted is the 28th July 2021.
